Shellco H2S Scavenger 60 is a 60 percent active aqueous amine resin solution designed as a hydrogen
sulfide scavenger for water. H2S Scavenger 60 can also be used as an additive to water-soluble corrosion
inhibitors and surfactants to enhance control of microorganisms.

APPLICATION
Continuous injection into water gathering lines, water tanks, holding pits, and vapor overheads. Can be
diluted with methanol or water for application purposes. Reacted solutions containing converted sulfide are
water-soluble surfactants that are normally injected into water disposal systems.
 
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
The amount of H2S Scavenger 60 required depends upon the level of H2S in the system and the degree
of reduction desired. In water systems, the typical scavenging rate is 2.0 – 20.0 ppm H2S Scavenger 60 per
ppm H2S. For treatment of H2S in gas or crude oil, H2S Scavenger 60 can be used at concentrations of 1 – 10 ppm per ppm H2S.
